Driving in Grandwood Park and what it does to your vehicle

Grandwood Park is quiet residential streets with quick access to US-41, Route 120 and the Gurnee retail corridor. Most driving is short local trips plus commutes on US-41 and I-94, so brakes, tires and alignment take the most wear, along with batteries in cold snaps.

Good to know

• US-41 north to Route 173 is a fast way to reach us without crossing Grand Avenue traffic.
• Ask for a battery test each fall before the first cold snap.
• Unincorporated residents can use the same appointment request as everyone else.
