- From downtown, take Sheridan Road north and turn west on Greenwood Avenue or Golf Road toward Lewis Avenue.
- Take Lewis Avenue north through Beach Park into Zion.

Driving around Waukegan
Waukegan driving covers everything: downtown streets near the lakefront and the Genesee Theatre, heavy retail traffic on Grand Avenue and Belvidere Road, and commutes to I-94 and the Tri-State. Stop and go traffic on Grand Avenue and Washington Street wears brakes and transmissions, and older pavement on side streets is hard on suspension parts and alignment.
- Lewis Avenue runs the full way north from Waukegan to our shop, so it is easy to give someone directions for a pickup.
- If you work in Zion, Kenosha or along the lakefront, drop off on the way in and pick up on the way home.
In a straight line, Waukegan is about 7 miles south of our shop, in Lake County, Illinois. Its nearest neighbors on our list: North Chicago (2.3 miles), Beach Park (4.5 miles) and Park City (2.8 miles).
Work at the shop
Customers from Waukegan most often ask for brake repair, transmission service, steering and suspension and check engine light and diagnostics, so a technician here sees a lot of that work. Work vans and box trucks from local fleets come through the bays as well. Roe Automotive has repaired cars, light trucks and work vans in Zion since 1990.
