Driving around Park City
Park City sits on busy commercial corridors. Belvidere Road and Green Bay Road carry heavy truck and retail traffic, and many residents commute to work in Waukegan, Gurnee or North Chicago on a mix of city and highway driving. Stop and go traffic on Belvidere Road is hard on brakes, and older pavement takes a toll on suspension and alignment.
- Green Bay Road north is the simplest route, with no need to go through downtown Waukegan.
- If your vehicle is your only way to work, call ahead so we can plan a drop off and pickup that fits your shift.
- We explain every repair before it starts, in plain language.
Park City is in Lake County, Illinois, about 8 miles south of the shop in a straight line. The closest other towns on our list are Waukegan (2.8 miles), Gurnee (1.8 miles) and North Chicago (2.7 miles).
Work at the shop
Customers from Park City most often ask for oil change and maintenance, brake repair, steering and suspension and check engine light and diagnostics, so a technician here sees a lot of that work. Fleet vans, including Ram ProMaster vans, are a specialty of the shop. Roe Automotive has repaired cars, light trucks and work vans in Zion since 1990.
